![]() Games, I feel, ever since 2007 have had a bit of a graphic halt since the release of Crysis - however lighting methods have improved noticeably in todays games, but that is what it comes to for the most part. Interior cells look enhanced in my opinion, but DLC items are noticeably lower-resolution. Using the same engine and similar parameters, even the graphic options in the launcher are the exact same. The graphics differ little from the previous title. There are, however, noticeable enhancements that scale from minor to major in just about every aspect of the game. I can safely say that Obsidian has met up to this challenge and the game retains the same positive characteristics of it's predecessor, along with a lot of it's faults. Obsidian has been hard pressed to match to the quality of Fallout 3 in creating an atmospheric, hands off world for you to explore. The story is not a chronological follow up, as it takes place in Vegas instead of setting the previous game (Fallout 3) which was in Washington D.C. One effect from this is that it ultimately achieves the same feel as it's predecessor. The game is mantled under a new developer - Obsidian and they have developed the game using the same engine as Fallout 3.
